"I don't normally write reviews, but feel compelled to after my experience yesterday. I was genuinely kind of shocked at how honest the crew at LSAR are. I'd previously brought my car in for a broken windshield wiper pump and they got it squared away same day. This weekend, I (a young solo female) went in for an oil change and was fully bracing myself for the "your air filters are dirty and your headlight fluid is leaking" that typically comes from other places. The shop was pretty busy, which is a good sign, so I had to sit for a little while but not terribly long -- at the dealership it can take easily an hour plus. Once they called me up to check out, I was pleasantly surprised when the mechanic said everything looked fine with the car and the oil change was all set and that was it! No upsells, no "we put XYZ fluid in your car without asking first soooo too late." They even checked out my air pressure sensor light that was on and found nothing wrong, but didn't charge me for that -- felt good that they weren't trying to nickel and dime me! Definitely will be recommending this shop for anyone looking for car maintenance."

"I had to have my car towed here over the weekend due to two flat tires. I was recommended this shop by AAA and they were great. They finished the repair in one business day and were very helpful. They explained the issue with the car, did the repairs very well, and were very well-priced. I would highly recommend this shop!"

"Great and honest. I've taken four different cars here and I trust them explicitly. They always give me a fair price [I've compared!] and if they have to deliver bad news, they always tell me straight-up. Car repairs are never fun but these folks make it bearable."

"I have never enjoyed taking my car into any auto service so was skeptical about Logan Square Auto. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and polite the service staff were as well as knowledgeable. Within 15 minutes they were able to locate the issue with car and had the parts in stock to make the repairs. I was on my way within an hour of arriving and the costs was very reasonable."

"We were in a real fix. From out of town and the car broke down.. worst case scenario.
From the moment we called Logan Square Auto Repair they made us feel so much better about our situation. The receptionist was very friendly and did exactly what she said she would.. keeping us informed and up to date on our repair.
They got us in literally immediately and worked hard to get us up and running so we could get back home ( 3 1/2 hrs away). They even stayed late to help us.
We could NOT have been happier with the people, service or price.
If I lived in Chicago I would never take my car anywhere else. I highly recommend these folks.
Thanks again Logan Square Auto Repair.. us Fort Wayne guys are forever in your debt!!"

"Wow. This place was really the right find. My husband and I drove in from Pittsburgh and the day that we got into the city, our car broke down. We got it towed here and the mechanics and office staff were so communicative and thorough. The prices are more than fair and they really care about customer service. We felt very taken care of. "Really amazing people from the kind intake workers to the mechanics. They are very honest and told me exactly what I was going to need immediately versus long term because I couldn't afford to get everything fixed at once. On another occasion they told me to go back to other mechanics I previously used because they thought I might have a warranty on that work and could save money, which was very honest. I highly recommend them, they have the customers best interest in mind and really care about you!"

"I have lived in Chicago for 30 years, and then I finally found Logan Square Auto Repair.
As my car was being towed for the umpteenth time by AAA to another garage, I asked the tow truck driver in desperation whether AAA could recommend a mechanic. The driver gave me Logan Square's card, and I became a believer! After their first job on my 14-year-old Jetta, I came home and told my wife that after 30 years of living in the city, I finally found an auto repair shop that does excellent work and that I can trust. She said, "There are people who go through lifetimes in Chicago without finding a reliable mechanic." So true. If you're in that endless search, make an appointment with Logan Square Auto Repair."

"I've been going to Logan Square Auto Repair for years now with a Volvo and Audi A6. They consistently communicate well, providing information and context about needed repairs, accommodate our scheduling requests, and perform great work. The level of complexity has varied and when multiple items are recommended they will help triage it and advise on what is needed right away and what can wait. They stand by their work and have only gotten better as they've expanded and increased their capacity."

"Great place. Super friendly, thorough and accommodating! Walked me through the entire servicing of my vehicle...listened to my concerns and questions...provided great service all the way around. They wound up doing work on my vehicle at a much less price than I'd been quoted by a previous auto repair place that had worked on my car. I received a quote for service and when I paid, was actually charged less than my quote, due to their being able to get the parts at a lower cost. Rick, the manager/mechanic took great care of me. Yari, with whom I dealt with over the phone, was exceptional and thorough as well. Highly recommend this place. This was my second time having my car serviced here and I will go nowhere else."

"My car was flooding in the front. I took it in, they found a few leaks coming from the windshield, charged me $200. Still leaking a couple weeks later. Brought it in again, fixed it, no charge. They were very understanding and diligent. I would take my car back here in a heartbeat."

"Not pushy. I have actually heard "You don't really need to do that now." from them. They are a long term mechanic that you can build a relationship with and trust. The prices are fairly good. Usually they are just above what I estimated."
